Hudu Integration

Prerequisites

• An account with permission to create API keys
• Hudu version 2.32 or later

NOTE  The Hudu API does not utilize the IP Access Control restrictions, so no IP allowlisting needs to be performed for the integration with SaaS Alerts to function.

Creating the SaaS Alerts API key

1. In Hudu, navigate to Admin > API Keys.
   
2. Click New API Key.
   
3. Enter the name SaaS Alerts for the API key.
4. Match the settings in the following screenshot, and then click Create New Key.
   
5. Copy the new API key (you will use this in the next step within SaaS Alerts).
   

Adding the Hudu application within SaaS Alerts

1. From the left navigation menu, navigate to Organizations.
2. Access an existing organization (likely your MSP’s organization), and click the Edit Organization pencil icon .
3. Click New Application.
   
4. Click the Hudu tile.
   
5. Fill in the client domain and the API token within the Hudu Connection Wizard.
6. Click Finish.
   
7. If the API Key and domain are correct, the wizard will complete successfully, and events will appear within 15 minutes.

NOTE  If either the client domain or API key are incorrect, an error message will be displayed. Repeat the steps performed earlier and try again.
